This week marked the beginning of winter. Just as the US is starting to warm up, Perth is getting colder. Thankfully, it hasn't been too cold. In fact, it feels more like fall to me - crisp, football weather! "M" and I took a nice walk around the neighborhood this evening. The one thing you don't see much of (at least compared to West Virginia) is the bright changing of color on the trees. We have two tallow trees in our front yard. The one that we planted last year has already changed color and dropped most of it's leaves while our mature tallow is still mostly green and full.
